Anthology is a 2000 retrospective CD by soul singer Marlena Shaw. No credits or anything, but it is a legitimate UK release featuring highlights of her recordings with Cadet, Blue Note, and Columbia, and two tracks from 1983 when she released an album on South Bay, and her collaboration with Phil Upchurch, "Could It Be You". Anyone unfamiliar with this self-proclaimed "bitch" will find 16 good reasons to become familiar. This was released on Soul Brothers Records via Passion Music Ltd.

About Tim is a 2002 compilation album by Eric Kloss, for this features two of Kloss' first albums, 1965's Introducing Eric Kloss and 1966's Love And All That Jazz. This was pressed in Germany by Prestige via ZYX.

A ‘Complete Albums Collection’ box set of Canadian-American rock band Buffalo Springfield output will be released on vinyl and CD at the end of June. Although the band, which featured Neil Young and Stephen Stills, only issued three studio albums, the Complete Albums Collection will be a five-disc set since it includes 1966’s self-titled debut in both stereo and the band-preferred dedicated mono mix (which Young and Stills insisted on, after disliking the original stereo mix). The follow-up – 1967’s Buffalo Springfield Again – is also included in both dedicated mono and stereo. 1968’s Last Time Around (stereo only) completes this box.

Straight, No Chaser is a 1965 recording by American jazz musicians Wes Montgomery and Clark Terry, recorded in Holland during a radio show performance. This was reissued in 1992 by Jazz Door and sounds like a vinyl rip.

Up-Up And Away: The Definitive Collection a 2CD compilation by late 60's/early 70's pop group The 5th Dimension. This features all of their big hits, a few of their minor hits plus some key album cuts. This was released by Arista Records.

Zoot Money's Big Roll Band was one of the most popular and entertaining groups of the British R&B boom era. A charismatic personality, soulful singer and cool Hammond organist, Zoot was much loved by the Mods who flocked to his shows at London's In clubs like The Flamingo. The Beatles and Rolling Stones were among his greatest fans.

This two-fer assembles two sought-after if vastly different Ted Heath LPs from 1970 and 1963 - even if the pairing makes little sense, their reissue on CD is still cause for celebration. The posthumously released The Big Ones captures Heath at the peak of his alchemical powers, transforming the biggest chart hits of the flower-power era to create singularly outré space age jazz far freakier than anything produced under the influence of psychedelics. Heath's ingenious arrangements seem to reinvent these familiar pop songs from within, often abandoning the melody to seize on a stray idea or subtle nuance - for example, his rendition of the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"…

Through The Vaults Darkly is a three volume Rolling Stones bootleg compilation series released in 2007 and 2008 by The Godfatherecords, each volume being two discs each. They consist of "alternate takes and outtakes", along with live recordings done between 1964-2006, a wide time frame. Each volume can be downloaded individually since that is how they were produced and sold.

Keep On Wondering is a 2010 bootleg CD of the Allman Brothers Band, recorded at SUNY, Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York State on 26 July, 1970. It is not the full Stony Brook performance, as this version omits "Whipping Post" but it is an excellence soundboard recording.

Sell Out is a way of letting fans know the Buffalo Springfield sold out. But did they? That is the question and the answer? Who cares when you have great music on this bootleg CD released by Auroura Borealis. One website says this should have been released as part of the group's official box set.

As its title promises, Bud Shank Plays Tenor eschews the jazzman's signature alto and flute, and while the leap to tenor doesn't dramatically impact his overall sound and style, it does add soul and depth to his lyrical solos. Paired with pianist Claude Williamson, bassist Don Prell, and drummer Chuck Flores, Shank crafts a radiant set of standards spanning from "All the Things You Are" to "Long Ago and Far Away," and while none of the performances reinvent the familiar material, the robust approach sets the session apart from his other Pacific Jazz dates.
